An avid art lover, as a child, she often wondered how someone could create something so beautiful with those bold strokes; play with colors, light and shadow, and create their own world on canvas. Then one fine day, she enrolled herself in Srijana Art Gallery (College) in Kathmandu (Nepal) where she got the chance of interacting with artists from different fields.
She had her first exhibition in 1996 (Famous Five) in Nepal followed by many in Nepal, Delhi and Russia.
For someone, who likes to define art as meditative, she loves watercolour as her medium — Its transparent character and the way it plays hide and seek with light and shadow, she says, is beyond words.
