Cima Art Mela Returns to New Delhi From 23rd 29th March 2025

The Centre of International Modern Art (CIMA), one of the premier art centres of India, is

thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated CIMA ART MELA- India’s largest

affordable art fair to New Delhi from 23rd – 29th March 2025. The fair will showcase exciting

works by over 65 artists from across India, representing both contemporary and modern

masters to traditional paintings, graphics, printmaking, digital prints, gond art and

photography.

This year, 65 + artists will be participating at the fair including some renowned artists like

Jayasri Burman; Jogen Chowdhury; Lalu Prasad Shaw; Arpita Singh; Paramjit Singh; Paresh

Maity; Ganesh Pyne; Chandrima Roy; Shakila to name a few. The fair features a curated

selection of art, screened and selected by CIMA’s curatorial team. Many of the artists

participating are National awardees and CIMA Award winners; an opportune moment for art

collectors to acquire the best.

Cima Art Mela was started fifteen years ago by CIMA (Centre of International Modern Art)

Kolkata, with a single aim – to bring quality art by some of India’s top artists and the best

new talent into hundreds of homes at dream prices. (Think `5,000 – `4,95,000!) The Art Fair

was conceptualised with the idea of making art accessible to a wider & deeper audience with an aim to bring art back into the lives of the middle class which has traditionally shown an

awareness of and a love for the arts.

We are excited to bring back CIMA ART MELA for art lovers to view and purchase high

quality original artworks at unimaginable prices. Once again, a not-to-miss occasion with a

breathtaking collection from masters and young award winners from across India. Our goal

is to make art accessible to everyone and create a platform that educates, informs and

inspires,” said Rakhi Sarkar, Director of CIMA Gallery.

CIMA Art Mela has been a runaway success in Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.
