Posting a painting is a great opportunity for collectors to have personal art, first at home, in the office or elsewhere. Unlike buying a pre-existing painting, the commission empowers clients to create a painting according to their specific needs, including size, color and aesthetic preferences.

We often associate commissions with leading Indian artists on behalf of our clients, and work closely with each client throughout the process from design to delivery. If you would like to authorize a piece by one of our artists, it is important that you first understand if this process is right for you.

Is a commissioned painting right for you?

In most cases, clients have a clear idea with specific requirements for size, colors and theme when deciding to post the first drawing. Sometimes, they have fallen in love with a sold painting, and would like to post the same picture with a few adjustments. Sometimes, they want a completely custom-made drawing by a particular artist, that matches the exact size and color scheme of their space. Commissions also include large drawings or other unusual sizes that the artist may not produce.
